1970 SM9 with Senatorial #71, 11CPI typeface. The typewriter has been disassembled, cleaned, type adjusted, lubricated, buffed and polished. All of the features of the SM9 have been checked and all are working; tabs, margins, line spacing, paper rest/guide, backspace, shift lock, carriage lock, carriage return arm and ribbon lift and reverse. Torpedo 18a, cursive 12cpi typeface, new JJ Short platen, new feet, new ribbon. Typewriter has been disassembled, degreased, cleaned, adjusted and lubricated. Fully functioning; load paper and type. Clean original had case is included. Cosmetics are very good; the “w” has a slight rise on the veneer of the key top but I don’t find that it bothers me. There is a slight wave in the body in front of the of the space bar which almost unnoticeable. There is some discoloration in the bright work on the rim on the ribbon cover; in one image it appears as rust but that is a distortion of the image. Great typewriter…great value .
