1959 Olympia SM2 in #84 Congress Elite typeface, 11CPI, has been disassembled, cleaned , degreased, type adjusted , lubricated, buffed and polished. A new black/red ribbon is installed on vintage metal ribbon spools. New rubber spacers are under the main frame. Light grey body Cabernet keyboard Carry case is in excellent condition. One of my favorite typewriters; load paper and type. Excellent !

There is a bit of gold paint here and there on the keys. See 8th photo for a close-up. The typewriter works well, with the exception of the letters "Q" & "Z" that don't lift properly. It does need a new ink ribbon, which is totally dry.

Vintage 1950's portable Smith-Corona Super Silent Manual Typewriter w/ Case 5T561513X. Keeps move pretty freely and all the knobs and levers work. Ribbon needs to be replaced. There is no key for the lock on the case. Case is not in the greatest shape. It has dings and marks and is kind of wonky to close, but it does close and stay latched.

I do not know anything about these typewriters, I have another Smith corona posted in my store for sale, when I first opened the box, the numbers and letters would stick every so often, but it seemed like the more I did it the less they would stick so my guess is it just needs broken again. The machine itself is very clean however, whatever the part is that lifts the ribbon up to meet the letters and numbers does not appear to be working I don’t know if that’s an easy fix or if it again just needs to be lubed. Everything else appears to be working as it should.

Vintage Remington Rand Manual Portable Typewriter With Case. Nice solid steel typewriter. Overall in very nice condition. It does work but will need a new ink ribbon. All the keys works great and all the levers and returns work nice and smooth with no hang ups. Case has a few dings on it.
