I could not locate a serial number on this typewriter. Very unusual. Pictures are good to show the overall condition. The original platen and feet, paper feed (may need to align paper occasionally), back space, margin release are in good condition and the ribbon feed, new ribbon, original spools, and light bell work well.

This is a manual portable Royal Heritage Typewriter in working condition. I have cleaned and lubed this. Checked all functions. Everything is in working condition. Case does close if you push really hard. No key. The metal around the case has some pitting and spots, but is solid and stable. Typewriter does lock into the case. I am not a typewriter expert nor do I really know the functionality of this typewriter, but I was able to work it using all keys.

This is a lovely Remington Rand typewriter made in the USA in the 1940s. We are no experts about these machines so we would love to hear any knowledge about this particular rare model, "Quiet Model 1". The advancing mechanism that rolls the paper does not seem to grab the paper well. The ribbon is obviously mostly dried out. No buttons are missing. Notice that the machine latches into its case but is removable as well. This is a beautiful display piece and we believe it could easily be in full working order.
