This vintage portable typewriter belonged to my godfather, and I don’t have a lot of information about it. Based on research and other items that belonged to my godfather my guess is the typewriter is from sometime in the 1970s (possibly 1960s?). I am unable to test the typewriter and don’t know if or how it still works, but it looks to be in great condition, considering the age and years unused in storage. This machine is fitted with a script typeface. The type produces a flowing cursive style rather than standard block print, which is shown clearly in the type sample photos. Script font Smith-Coronas are less common than standard pica models.
