Case is worn but functional. Could use a typewriter lubrication. I did not hear a bell but I’m not sure if this model has one or maybe I didn’t have a lever correct. Lightweight compared to many I’ve seen.

This is a SUPER NICE Smith Corona Galaxie Twelve portable manual typewriter with original case. Vintage 1970s MCM Cleaned and Tested. Everything works as it should. This is a really nice Galaxie 12. Up for sale is an IBM Selectric case from the 1960’s. The color is what IBM called “emerald green”. The trim and paper table are in great condition. This is the 15” size. Now, this case is made of aluminum and is not bent or cracked. The hinges and arms for raising the top work really good. This case is the “level one” style which means it doesn’t use the “latches” to remove the whole top. This one is the style that you remove the bottom pan first to loosen mounting brackets to facilitate removing the top.
