The serial number is 1S15023 which should put production around mid February of 1935. Smith Corona started 1935 production with serial number 12726 and made about 1329 units per month. It also has a slightly sticky “i” typebar.

Vintage 1950's portable Smith-Corona Super Silent Manual Typewriter w/ Case 5T561513X. Keeps move pretty freely and all the knobs and levers work. Ribbon needs to be replaced. There is no key for the lock on the case. Case is not in the greatest shape. It has dings and marks and is kind of wonky to close, but it does close and stay latched.
