This portable typewriter is in good cosmetic condition. It is an Morse 900 made in Japan by Nippo. It is offered for display or to restore with some service attention. Most all the keys strike okay, some of the outside keys would need adjusting to return properly. The red/ black ribbon feature sticks and the ribbon is dried out. This 55 year old machine does not appear to have had too much use. The zipper case does work showing expected wear. Nice display piece and was well made. Vintage 1940s Underwood Champion Portable Typewriter. Includes instructions. Keys all move freely as does the carriage. Ribbon may need to be replaced as the ink is faint. It has some wear and dirty spots. And please note it has a strong musty smell. Not sure if a good way to get rid of the smell. Please see pictures but let me know if any questions. Thanks!

While this is nice and functions as you would expect There are 2 issues The ribbon is pretty faint and could use replacing And the 2nd and bigger issue is the chassis is missing the bushings that hold the lid/cover in place It sits there and looks great but there is supposed to be a rubber sleeve in the body of the typewriter that recieves the shaft on the lid Without that the lid won’t attach properly
