This is an Antique Remington Portable Manual Typewriter that I believe is from the 1920's. It is a Small Black version and is about 10" wide. I tested it and it functions but the carriage does not want to advance.

Vintage Remington Bantam portable manual typewriter with original hard case. Function notes: Keys move and typebars operate. Carriage moves. Ribbon spools and ribbon advance appear present. I cleaned the platen and paper feed rollers. Known issue: Paper feed is inconsistent. Paper will start feeding, but does not always pull all the way through without light manual assistance. Sold as a repair project or for parts due to this feed issue. Cosmetic condition: Excellent used condition. Case shows scuffs, edge wear, and handle wear. Serial number is shown in photos.

It has a few blemishes over the past 90 years. The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1937 era. Green keyboard with a couple keys replaced as you can see in the photos. The z, left shift key and the seldom used gender key.
