This is an original antique (early 20th century) LC Smith Super Speed Silent No 11 manual typewriter in functional condition. It needs a new ribbon and could use a good cleaning for best results. Nothing has been cleaned, and it is dusty inside and there is a trapped piece of yarn that can be seen in the photo showing the bottom of the typewriter.

The Royal Standard No. 5 Flatbed Staircase Typewriter from 1912(?). is a manual typewriter that is nonworking, but it still has most of its original parts and would be perfect as a repairable project or for display as-is.

The serial number is O T352421. The original platen, paper feed, ribbon feed, new ribbon, original spools, margin release, back space, tab, shift lock, original feet, bell are all good. Types very well in elite.

Carriage roller appears to be looser than should be. All keys are present and moving, but stick occasionally. I may be misreading one of the serial digits as well.

When typing however, the keys do stick so you can type a little bit but they do stick. A crafty person might be able to fix this. I'm not sure.

Up for sale is a really nice Vintage Smith-Corona Clipper Portable Manual Typewriter. It is from 1959, I think, based on the serial number (5C-480115). The color is Taupe, with white keys. No noted issues mechanically! All the keys work! It does have a little surface rust on the inside catch where it connects clips onto the case. Any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask!
