This book, printed in 1884, is in beautiful condition especially considering it's age. It contains the complete works of Jean Ingelow, as well as several beautiful illustrations. the binding is very much intact and sturdy and the pages are crisp. the gilding on the front cover is perfectly preserved but that of the spine is a bit rubbed off. The lining page has a period inscription dated the year after the book was published, which I always like to see in an antique book. I feel like it adds to the history of the piece.
