Nice set of antique law books here dealing with the laws passed in the State of Ohio during 1820 & 1824. The books are entitled, 1820 - "Acts Passed at the First Session of the Nineteenth General Assembly of the State of Ohio" and 1824 - " Acts of a General Nature Passed at the First Session of the Twenty-Third General Assembly of the State of Ohio".

These are the class “first series” editions, known for their iconic tan buckram covers with distinct red and black spine labels and gold gilt lettering. Spines are intact with bright lettering. Covers show minor shelf wear consistent with age but remain sturdy and professional.

A great set for home or office decor! Vintage leather bound books on the Supreme Court Cases in California from 1850-1856. Books included: 1850-1 1852-2 1852-3 1852-3 1855-5 1856-6 Condition: Authentic 19th-century, as shown in photos. Some of the books have broken connections between the spine and leafs, which is visible once opening the books. One book was previously repaired (far left on main photo). These books look great on a shelf! Also -The law firm that used these put their stamp on the side (shown in photos) and added some clippings into the edges of the pages (looks like a reference of some sort). Shown in photos.
