This lovingly austere B1 amp was bought new in the UK in 1990. Used while there for 18 months, then I sent it off to MF in Wembley to have it converted to 120v from 220v. They told me the UK version is different than the eventual US version for compliance reasons, but they didn't articulate how. It has been in storage wrapped for a very long time and just tested to find it is indeed a time capsule and ready to serve.
