There is a patent date of 1925 on the case. The case has a rear latch that secures the Iron in the case. When plugged in, it didn't take long at all for it to get hot. Item is used and shows signs of use.

Here we have a very rare and unusual find. This Cast Iron Electric Bean Pot was made by The House of Webster ... They started making Electric Appliances in 1960's ... (Called them cast iron stoves) ... Not sure of the year on this one but it sounded like very low production, saw in one forum possibly 70 or so. These Unique pieces were bought by several celebrities such as Jim Nabors, Kenny Rogers and others. They no longer make these pieces but the Foundry still exist, The company is based in ROGERS, AR .....Measures 9" across the top, 9" Tall, 7" deep inside and weighs 27 1/2 lb without a box. It's in good condition, needs a good cleaning. It is approx 8 1/2" long, 5 1/2" tall, and 3 3/4" wide. I think the iron is from the 1940's, but not sure. Iron has been tested and does work. Has a cloth cord, part of the cord has been taped.
