Everything works on it but there is a special way to get the cassette to play. When you put the tape in it will rewind and fast forward correctly. But when you put the cassette in to play a tape, you first have to push the pause button and then push the play button and then release the play button and it works fine.

Came out of the original box after being scarcely used, HOWEVER, tape deck A does not work properly. The spindles don't turn. You can feel them trying though, and if you spin them with your finger while FF or RW is pressed it will spin a bit. The spindles want to turn, but something is slowing them down.
