This is a solid stereo and Prologic receiver. It has been tested for all of its functions. 220 watts total output. Very capable in playing tapes, CD, phono, VCR, TV. and radio tuner. Also sounds very good based on using a good set of speakers. You will appreciate the high quality craftsmanship of a Yamaha electronic component. Prologic is 3.1 surround sound.
