This is a lovely edition of Miscellaneous Essays by George Elliot. It was published by The Hovendon Co. out of New York. It is undated but likely circa 1890s The novels have some shelf wear and bumping to the edges. The cover has significant damage. The spine is quite faded. The interior is in overall good condition, though there are some children’s pencil drawings on the first cover pages, shown in photos - the binding is well maintained - and other than some age coloration - it is in good condition.
