Improvements have been made to this filter by the manufacture including a heavier fiber material, micron filtration, stronger plastic retaining ring and improved stitching for lasting durability. The filter design forces the spa water through the filter area, catching everything including leaves, bugs and fine sand and debris, more efficient than traditional paper filters. Easy to clean and reuse! Pull out the MICRO FIBER FILTER from the filter area, turn inside out to wash off all debris with a garden hose or they can also be washed by themselves in a cycle of your dish washer on the top shelf to clean thoroughly.
