Epinions Nokia 6030 Cellular Phone.

by  kiko_cat,  Mar 10, 2007
Pros: Nice basic phone!
Cons: None so far
The Bottom Line: I needed a simple basic prepaid phone and this is perfect for me.
Review: A simple phone with exactly what I needed in a phone. A few months ago I decided that I had to get rid of Pacific Bell (SBC or whatever their name is now) because even though they wouldn’t allow me to have long distance (long story but everything had ...

Epinions Does the job

by  elliewriter,  Jul 19, 2008
Pros: Reliable, charges quickly, holds a charge, good for making calls and sending texts.
Cons: Lacks many high-tech options.
The Bottom Line: If you need a simple phone that you can count on, I highly recommend this one.
Review: I'm a big fan of this simple little phone. Honestly, it was the cheapest one in the store. There's nothing especially edgy about this model: no sliding cover, no touch screen, no MP3 player, you can't even take pictures. And I couldn't care less. I ...

Epinions The Basic Cell Phone: The Last Of A Dying Breed – for Cingular/ATT

by  marindavid,  Mar 6, 2007
Pros: A basic cell phone, inexpensive with very good reception and a large number memory.
Cons: The paper manual is apparently written by someone who has never used the phone.
The Bottom Line: The best available choice for cell phone users who want only a reliable cell phone and like Cingular/ATT enough to renew their contract with them.
Review: A Little Background I don’t consider myself to be a Luddite (one who stands in opposition to technological ‘advances’) but I DO, as a general rule, prefer technical devices that are singular (no pun intended) in their purpose. That is to ...

Epinions no problems here!

by  tanguera44,  Jun 1, 2007
Pros: A great choice for people who just want a phone.
Cons: Menu a little sluggish and time-consuming to navigate. No flashy extras.
The Bottom Line: This is a great option for making and receiving phone calls. Its looks won't turn any heads but for what it is, it does a good job.
Review: The Nokia 6030 was my first venture into the world of cell phones. Out of a sense of non-conformity, I avoided getting a cell phone for a long time. However, family and friends finally convinced me that I should have one at least for emergencies and ...

Epinions good for the price

by  riazullah,  Mar 23, 2007
Pros: simple to use, has most of the necessary features
Cons: does not have bluetooth
Review: I bought this cell phone thru T-mobile service about 5 months ago. Its simple to use and good enough for my usage. I have taken only pre-paid service and I don't intend to use this phone very heavily. If you have similar usage this one is the best for ...

Epinions Reliable but bland.

by  bobbyslav,  Mar 7, 2007
Pros: Price, reception and call quality, simple phone, candy bar.
Cons: battery life, games, dual mode, menu structure, keypad, no side volume controls.
The Bottom Line: This is for people who just want to make calls and know the Nokia menu structure. Even so though, the mediocre battery life is disappointing.
Review: While waiting for the new crop of DVD recorders with built in ATSC tuners, I needed a new mission to distract me from buying another "old school" one. Luckily my current cell phone contract just expired, so it felt like just the right time to find the ...

Epinions Nice, simple phone

by  barbara18,  May 27, 2008
Pros: Cheap, easy to use
Cons: flimsy
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this phone if you just need a cell phone for making calls. It is not fancy and probably won't last longer than a year.
Review: I bought this phone for my mother who loves it. She is not up to date on technology at all but realized the need for a cell phone. So she asked me to find her one that was inexpensive and simple to use. Viola! The 6030 is relatively small, ...
