by  bigedmustafa,  May 16, 2005
Pros: Integrated Graphics with Cinema Display, wide feature set
Cons: No overclocking features, Gigabit Ethernet, or PCI-E 1X expansion slots
The Bottom Line: A fantastic motherboard for folks who don't overclock - great price, loads of features, good usable integrated graphics, stable and reliable.
Review: The MSI RS480M2-IL is nicely packaged, with a custom RF shield to fit most any existing ATX-style case. It also comes with SATA power and data cable as well as the usual PATA and floppy ribbon cables right in the box. The feature list of the ...

by  rod4truth,  Apr 16, 2005
Pros: Onboard Video & 16 PCI-E, TV-OUT
Cons: None
Review: This is my second build for an Athlon 64 based system. I find that this borard is the most featured packed Socket 939 mATX board out there. I've been running it in my system for weeks now. It doesn't overclock, but it really doesn't need to either. ...

Pros: Onboard Video & 16 PCI-E, TV-OUT, SPDIF OUT
Cons: BIOS still needs some work
Review: MSI has built a great board for a great price. This board starts where the nForce 2 architecture left, a great built in video. Nvidia's refusal to offer built in video for the 939 socket has made this product unique. Overall, the tv out (composite and ...

Epinions Sorry, look elsewhere

by  jonatj,  May 17, 2005
Pros: Onboard video and sound are good.
Cons: MSI's implementation of the chipset needs work.
Review: This board is pretty buggy. I've had trouble with PCI IRQ conflict knocking out the onboard NIC. Video and sound are stable and no complaints. USB powered items can cause the board to lock on reboots and HDD DMA problems happened to me when I had a 2nd ...
