Epinions Phenomenal. These are the speakers you're looking for!

by  lvcampen,  Jan 29, 2007
Pros: Breathtakingly good sound. Incredibly low price for the quality.
Cons: Cables could be longer.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend these speakers because they sound beyond exceptional, will get louder than a sane person will play them, and are ridiculously low-priced. Can I give them six stars?
Review: I am going to be starting a new job soon and wanted to get some decent speakers for listening to music while I work. I also need good speakers because I do a fair amount of loops based tracks in Apple's "Garage Band" for use in a live music setting. ...

Epinions Superb!

by  chengbin,  Aug 25, 2007
Pros: Pristine clarity, small, POWERFUL, loud, stylish, cheaper than all other high end computer speakers.
Cons: Boomy sub, bass only extend to 35Hz, no tweeter(still speakers produce fantastic treble) short cables.
The Bottom Line: Just buy it. Overall, this speaker is better than the other high end computer speakers. See comparison section in my review
Review: This is an updated review on the Logitech Z-2300 after a heavy break-in and some additional information. If you don't want to read the whole review. I can sum it up right here. It sounded fantastic for a computer speaker system. BUY IT. When I ...

Epinions Top of its class

by  thegsrguy,  Dec 30, 2007
Pros: Conservative styling, tight bass, accurate sound, good midrange
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: The Z-2300 does not disappoint. At $150, no one can come close to matching the sound quality and value.
Review: Let's be honest here -- there are two types of computer speakers: cheap and tinny, and pricey and clear. Unfortunately, most of us know computer speakers only as the lousy little $30 systems that came bundled with the computer. Electronics retailers seem ...

Epinions Bottom-line best sound for the price!

by  ebpsi2k,  Mar 23, 2006
Pros: Bass! Reasonably high fidelty for a cheap set. Midrange is present! Clear highs. PRICE!
Cons: No AUX input! Rather short wires. Bass can be tedious for very few.
The Bottom Line: Get these speakers because they are the best in it's price category ($50-100)! I don't think you can find better for that price.
Review: I was hesitant to buy these initially due to the mixed reviews at Cnet.com, especially the ones complaining about the lack of midrange. But I was in quite a predicament. I gave my old speakers to my mom and was in the market for some new replacements. ...

Epinions wow. just.... "wow."

by  ncsuprof,  Jul 5, 2007
Pros: price, performance, solid bass, excellent full-spectrum frequency response, construction, ease of setup/use
Cons: Give me a few decades and I'll try to find some.
The Bottom Line: if you can afford them and don't buy them, you've missed a great opportunity. If you need to save up a little for them, you'll be happy you did.
Review: Between Epinions.com and Consumer Reports (as well as some other online sources), I do a pretty obsessive-compulsive kinda job researching stuff that I buy before I buy it these days. It's worked for coffee makers, cameras, tires, resort hotels and a ...

Epinions Excellent speakers

by  adamdude14,  May 2, 2008
Pros: Very good overall sound, great looks and build quality, easy to use.
Cons: Satellite ports are fake, subwoofer is occasionally a bit sloppy.
The Bottom Line: I recommend these to anyone who appreciates good sound.
Review: This is an update to my review after a heavy break in. Treble: These speakers produce excellent treble with high detail and almost never saturate. The lack of tweeter does not affect their performance at all. The phase plug in the satellite drivers ...

Epinions Fantastic Speakers!!

by  ajsmith7,  Jan 3, 2008
Pros: Remote, color coded wires, THX certified, they look great, fantastic clarity/balance
Cons: Huge bass (not necessarily a con since the bass is controllable), hard wired front speakers
The Bottom Line: If this is the price range you are working with, you can't do better than this set of speakers. They are fantastic!
Review: First thing's first, these are some great speakers. I bought them because I heard they were the best, and so far, I cant disagree with everything I've heard. They look great, sound great, and are easy to use. When I first plugged them in, I ran ...

Epinions Very good speakers at a great price

by  sarabill,  Aug 12, 2007
Pros: Clear, crisp sound. Good balance in the low, high and midrange.
Cons: Subwoofer is a beast.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for very high end sound, buy a 5 piece speaker sound system for many hundreds of dollars. For the money, this is a great speaker system.
Review: I reviewed several sites before buying these speakers. CNET.com, Epinions, ZDNET.com among others. The major drawback that I was able to discern from those users who were unhappy related mainly to the midrange problem. Others, who responded to these ...

Epinions Great Speakers, Fairly Cheap

by  abby1345,  Feb 18, 2008
Pros: Easy set up, good sound, looks good
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: I would get these again in a heartbeat because they offer great sound and are easy to use
Review: For the longest time all I had were my laptop speakers. While there were ok there was a limit on how loud I could get my music. A friend of mine had to older version of these speakers and he loved his, so I decided to pick a set on my own. It was well ...

Epinions Logitech Z2300: One Word Astounding

by  shaffekm,  Sep 12, 2006
Pros: Base, Aesthetics, Sound quality.
Cons: Size of subwoofer, hard wired PC input, Mids (speakers sound deep)
The Bottom Line: For the price you can't go wrong. The klipsch 2.1 set is the only thing that compares, but that starts at about $150.
Review: I just ripped the packaging of my set of brand new Logitech z2300 2.1 Audio System. Now I say system because this set compares to the alpine audio system I have installed in my car. I paid $100 after shipping from www.pagecomputers.com. I listen ...
